Stephen Alexander James
Alex was born on November 21, 1968 in Bournemouth, England. (He prefers to go by his middle name, Alex.) His father sold fork-lift trucks and his mother did voluntary work, including the local Books On Wheels service. He also has a sister.
Alex plays the bass in his band Blur.
